It's very cold out today and I was forced to spend all of 5 entire minutes scraping the ice off my car windows. Christmas fast approaches. I just hope it doesn't snow a lot. A woman I spoke to on one of my blogs yesterday got a good idea. She said it should snow only for Christmas and there should be nice weather the rest of the time.

Tuesday, December 5, 2006: On November 22, 1968, the Beatles released their eponymously titled White Album, The Beatles. On November 17, 1980, Beatle John Lennon released what would be the last album of his to be released during his lifetime, Double Fantasy. About this time both those years, we Beatlemaniacs were sky high. Lennon was assassinated on December 8, 1980.

Very Cold Day

Monday, December 4, 2006: I spent most of Saturday with my relatives in West Wyoming. For the past two days it's been very cold and windy which is entirely appropriate for the season. On Saturday I got my very first Christmas card, from the Carmelite sisters in Wilkes Barre. I'll probably get two more from New York.
