As I mentioned a while ago, my high school's family feast was coming up. Anyway, it was last week. I hope a splendid time was had by all. I miss the old alma mater but at least I've gotten a chance to get back in touch with lots of people from that time of my life. The weather these days is delightfully warm. Gas prices are getting nightmarishly out of control. Three dollars & beyond is the norm. Yesterday I got my latest copy of the
Carmelite Digest. That's always quite a mighty good source of things everybody wants to get to know. KrissyKrissyKrissy was complaining yesterday that she hasn't gotten a chance to see my blog lately.

WARMER BY THE SECOND
Jerry Day is coming up very soon. June 7, 2007 must be marked for sure on the calendar of one & all. Jerome John Garcia, who died about twelve years ago, believe it or not, gets his annual tribute that day. I've always been a big fan of the Dead. I often hum songs like "Don't Ease Me In" absent_mindedly from out of nowhere. The weather these days just keeps right on getting lovelier & lovelier by the second. I've always been a fool for an excessively warm day. KrissyKrissyKrissy is finally & at last back from N.Y. My niece Bridget's birthday_she'll be in the double digits from then on_is on Sunday. Now that she'll be an officially big kid there'll be for sure no stopping her. Alas, I need a haircut some one of these days. I've never been a fan of those jaunts to the friendly neighborhood barber but they're a necessary evil.

A WALKING SNAPPLE CAP
Of course, Cathleen called me, yesterday, a walking Snapple cap, so I couldn't resist. I've always been really knowledgeable about all sorts of odd things & she made sure she put me on the spot about it. The weather has been getting much more to my liking lately. I've been walking at least once every couple of days. I try to exercise at least a fairly nice amount every day too. It's good for me. KrissyKrissyKrissy, to the very best of my knowledge, will be back bright & early tomorrow morning. I've been getting as much practice as possible these days with putting images into my blogs. It's much more enjoyable than always having to rely on mere words. I see that Russian looker is still trying to get me to help her come over to the U.S. I just humor her & politely ramble on. That's about how I usually deal with most people anyway. I haven't heard from the holy rollers lately though. I wonder what they could be up to these days.

I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT
I finally managed to crack the code. I got started fiddling around on those little computer discs & managed to figure out exactly how to put some pictures onto my sites. Whoo!! There'll be no stopping me now. I'm still reading that Jane Austen book. I just overheard the librarian telling another patron that they'll be opened on Saturday & closed on Monday. That's Memorial day, don't you know? One of these days I shall have to get my nephew Michael, college boy extraordinaire, to help me figure out how to get stuff straightened out on my computer. I haven't been able to use it for quite a long time. The library is unusually quiet today. I always enjoy it because too much traffic gets me crazy. Copiague's library is always an absolute nightmare for me. KrissyKrissyKrissy is in New York now until Friday. My parents are still both violently sick with exceptionally bad colds. My hay fever is mildly bad these days. Today I cut the grass. It's not a nice job but somebody most certainly has to do it.

BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO STEVE
Today's my brother.in.law Steve's birthday. He & I have known each other for quite a long time by now. He's the music teacher of the bunch. I made sure I promised to send him at least an e.mail. Knowing me, you knew by now I most certainly couldn't possibly have been expected to resist at least a mention of it on my blog. KrissyKrissyKrissy left early last night & was late getting home this morning. I get bad dizzy spells just thinking of her schedule. The library's been abnormally quiet so far today. Lately it's been stark raging packed lots of times. I read quite a whole lot of that Jane Austen book yesterday. Gas prices have been absolutely going through the roof lately. It seems as if they're at least a nickel more expensive each day per gallon.

EVERYBODY'S SICK LATELY
My parents both have extremely bad colds. I have hay fever. It's a very sick time these days. Ever since that fateful trip to Elaine's party, life appears to have flipped out, though I already had my hay fever anyway. The party went quite well for Stacy & Mike, according to what everybody told me. I've been reading Jane Austen's Emma again. I finally went over to Kingston to get my oil change this morning. It was very easy. Unlike many times, I didn't end up getting the rundown about my usual veritable plethorae of car nightmares. It was inexpensive, fast & easy. There was an accident on the way home. I was driving on the northbound lane of Wyoming Ave. It was between a van & a car behind it. The car's hood was completely smashed out of whack. I haven't gotten into an accident in quite a while & can honestly say I haven't been in a single one over the entire time I've lived around here. It rained yesterday but only a spring shower. We ate pizza. The weather's very cool today but I overheard a few people say we can expect very nice warm weather for a while. Great Caesar's ghost! I see KrissyKrissyKrissy finally & at last got her big chance to read my blog. It most certainly took her quite a while.
