BISHOP & CARDINAL

The snow lasted for quite a while over the weekend. It came down over the course of three days & today there's a slight drizzle. Dave was very helpful. He shoveled quite a lot of the snow. I went to confession on Saturday at 3:30 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Pittston. When I got there I noticed that the parking lot was filled up. When I got into the church I overheard someone mention that Justin Cardinal Rigali & our new bishop were there. I knew they'd be showing up but I must have forgotten it was this weekend. I made sure I stayed for 4:30 Mass. After Mass I met them both in the Seton Auditorium. Uncle Frankie came over for supper yesterday. He's been getting around more each day lately. I got a headache yesterday. Oddly whenever I get a headache my right eye always gets really bad looking. Today is the first day of March so spring will soon be upon us. I just got a letter from the Red Cross on Saturday. There will be yet another blood drive at St. Joseph's Church on Sixth Street in Wyoming next Sunday.
