Below Zero

I haven't seen weather this cold in a while. The thermometer by the Unimart on Wyoming Avenue said it was -3 degrees out. KrissyKrissyKrissy's on her way back to New York once again. I finished that Evelyn Waugh book & lately I've been devouring G.K. Chesterton's book about St. Thomas Aquinas, The Dumb Ox. Last night the big Super Bowl party with the kinfolk worked out quite nicely. At least it was quite a whole lot quieter, less crowded & more well organized than the American Legion parties we used to have to go to. There was no smoking & the food was less intensely stupefying so I was quite happy. Unfortunately I didn't really notice the David Beckham commercial specifically but the commercials in general were all quite a hoot.
