TTFN,UNCLE JOE

My uncle Joe, a veteran of Archie Bunker's War, great_grandfather & all_around family fixture, died on the fifteenth. His funeral was yesterday. What a long, strange trip it's been. Times such as this are sort of like the death knoll for an entire era. It's odd because he's the fifth relative to have died in the past four years. Most of the kinfolk managed to show up. I enjoyed being able to talk with them in person. Seanie K. Jones even commented on my allusions to "Wuthering Heights" in my blog. I wonder if it strikes him as better than John Denver's songs. Bridget will be sticking around for the week. She, Michael & Sam have been doing quite well lately.
