Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras

Today is Fat Tuesday, the eve of Ash Wendesday. AKA Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day. Of course, as everyone most certainly knows, yesterday was Collop Monday. It's all about the Feast before the Fast. The penitential season of Lent starts tomorrow & these other days are all based on long_standing European traditions. Whoooooa, western culture!
